The Tartan

The tartan worn on the kilts is that of the Clan Fraser, of the Scottish Highlands. James wanted to honor the family heritage of his fifth great-grandfather, Private Robert Frazer, a notable member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804-1806. Interestingly, Margo and James had the honor of personally holding and viewing the two-table-sized map that Robert Frazer had made several years after the Expedition, which resides with the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
